Deirdre Letson-Christofalo recently joined Felician University as their new Dean of Innovation and Professional Studies. Prior to moving to Felician University at the beginning of 2018, Dr. Letson-Christofalo worked as Centenary University’s Vice-President for Adult, Online and Corporate education (housed within the School of Professional Studies). She was with Centenary University for over 13 years and was instrumental in creating an adult-centered curriculum that was experiential and applicable to the workplace. In addition to her work creating an adult centered education program, she set strategic vision for the School of Professional Studies, communicated the vision to all internal and external constituencies, and secured needed resources to accomplish strategic goals.
Dr. Letson’s interests include andragogical innovation, learning centered teaching practices and educational policy. She holds a Bachelors degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Arts degree in Administration and Supervision of Adult Education and Training from Montclair State University, and an Ed.D in Organizational Leadership – Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University.
