At this session DePaul, School for New Learning faculty shared the latest adult learning trends and hot topics from the recent CAEL (Council for Adult and Experiential Learning and AAACE (American Association for Adult and Continuing Education) conferences, as well as several others with fifteen on-site participants and a large and engaged online audience. Participants learned about the latest developments in competence-based learning, micro-credentials, scalability, equity and access, among other hot topics.

• Michelle Navarre-Cleary, Ph.D.
• Cynthia Stevens, Ed.D.
After brief highlights from each presenter, the discussion opened to all participants to explore implications these trends have for our work with adult learners in various settings.
