Thanks for a good two days, Pamela. I did make it home and had to shovel my way out this morning. :)
Pamela,
Can you provide me with the name of the illustrator that illustrates the group discussions for your sessions. We are exploring doing this around a topic with one of our regional/chapter meetings that is coming up in March or April in California. Perhaps she can connect us with someone locally they can contact?

Given all the teaching I do (on the slopes, in classroom, internet CE, etc.) this seemed like a great venue to get more information. Will be fun to ski together again sometime and share teaching tales...let me know how you are using it.
Thank you for the invitation, Pamela. Ruben and I are looking forward to the 26th!
I started writing a message to you earlier today and lost it in cyberspace. New to this system and so my words went Poof. Had to move onto other things so now I get to talk with you
Was glad to see you too. Was wondering where the resources you put somewhere yesterday, books, etc. were? Tried to find them with no luck. Not sure this makes sense.
Would love to treat you to coffee or lunch one of these days. Networking, connecting with you since I love to play. Want to learn more about social connections and the classroom. If you are willing, let me know when you're at the Loop Campus. My office is in the West Loop on Peoria Street...so I can get to the Loop Campus quite easily. Unless you want to come to the West Loop. That is if there in no ice or snow storm!!!
Take care. More laters.
I sent link about CAEA to people in the Chicago area and other locations.

I earned an MA from SNL in 1995. Catherine was my faculty mentor. I submitted three abstracts for consideration at an international conference in Geneva, Switzerland before I graduated. One of the abstracts was my master's thesis. All three were accepted for podium presentations. I am 57 and change careers approximately every 10 years, so had presented many times before. However, the human animal bond was a new area for me. There was live interpretation into five languages, which meant the need to stick to a script and watch my timing. I watch my audience and it is difficult for me to read a presentation. When a presentation is interpreted, the amount of content is cut in half.
I formed a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, People, Animals, Nature, Inc (PAN) in 1995. Since that time, I lectured nationally and internationally, published extensively, and taught in both online and classroom venues. I have thoughts about the pros and cons of online learning. I am currently in another doctorate program, this time at A.T. Still University, the oldest school of osteopathic medicine in the world. My concentration area is global health. I am not exactly sure what global health is after a year in the program. There is no agreement among national or international organizations about what health or wellness is.
My website is pan-inc.org. This very scattered note is meant as an introduction. I am interested in what you are doing and how I can get involved.

Facebook---Do google search for Debbie Coultis. Currently my facebook invitation page appears on the first page of listings.
Question: Do people need an affiliation with DePaul to attend lectures and/or be involved in discussions? I already posted the site on Facebook.
Thank You,
Debbie
