We have inherited a rich methodology of facilitating learning from SNL DePaul University. After 8 years of partnership we are trying to adopt the competence-based learning methodology to our new BA to be awarded by Kenya. We are interested to get suggestions on how to build demonstrations of competence. We want our graduates to be able to give performance evidence of their learning at the point of graduation.
Our usual way of determining demonstration is through exams,which over the years we have come to know it doesn't really test authentically.
Any references to scholarly articles about this topic would be very helpful.
