For anyone who is interested in this kind of research: I am following up on the findings (i.e. that learners with an understanding of how analogies work benefit more from the technique of analogy enhancement than those who don't) and augmenting my instruction with an introductory explanation of analogy enhancement. Also, as suggested by my lit review, I will enhance each concept with TWO analogies. I'm excited to see if this makes a difference, especially for our target adult learners. Thanks again to all those who attended my session!

I look forward to sharing my results on Friday, AND to hearing about the other research projects--what a terrific opportunity!
