Event Description

In this introductory webinar you will preview some of the key dimensions of learning agility and understand why it is one of the hottest topics in workplace and adult learning today. Most learning and facilitation strategies assume that the newly acquired skills, knowledge and abilities will be applied in a context similar to the one in which they were learned, or at least a stable one. However it is rarely the case. In fact, adults must quickly adapt their prior learning and experience and apply it in a new and unfamiliar situation. Those who do it successfully are learning agile.
You will also gain a basic understanding of various ways the brain responds in the midst of change, and how you can support learning success in a changing world.

This webinar is designed as a preview of the full two-day Institute hosted by DePaul University’s, School for New Learning, Center to Advance Education for Adults on May 16th and 17th. For more information and to register for the Institute, visit: https://caeaspring2016institute.eventbrite.com
