Learning agility, the ability to learn and adapt in changing contexts (Mitchinson & Morris, 2012), is increasingly central to success in the workplace and life in general. A recent study by the Korn/Ferry Institute identified learning agility as the top ranking predictor of leadership success, while estimating that only 15% of the workforce is “highly learning agile” (De Meuse, Dai, & Hallenbeck, 2010). In addition, learning agility is also a component of organizational agility, which is proving to return significant bottom line benefits for those who make it a strategic priority (Glenn, 2009).
In this two-day Institute module with Pamela Meyer, Ph.D. and Catherine Marienau, Ph.D., participants will discover the dimensions and dynamics of learning agility; they also will learn and develop strategies to help learners in their practice setting develop the competence, capacity and confidence for learning agility.
