Do you currently have, or are you considering professional certifications? In today’s employment climate, professional credentials are more important than ever. At the same time, employers still consistently hire and promote those with accredited academic degrees. Join us to learn how you can enhance your employability by tapping both of these employability trends. In this session you will learn the value of adding professional credentials to undergraduate or graduate degrees. If you already have a professional certification, or significant professional training, you will learn how you can earn academic credit for this learning toward your undergraduate or graduate degree.
You will specifically learn how to use professional certificates offered via DePaul’s Continuing and Professional Education (CPE), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) toward your accredited degree at DePaul’s School for New Learning.
While this session will focus on training, learning and development related certifications, all are encouraged to attend as you will also learn how a wide variety of certificates can be applied to both undergraduate and graduate programs in SNL.
In addition to learning current trends in enhancing employability and credentialling, you will be invited to meet with individual representatives who can tell you more about using the various credentials for college credit.
There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.
