Join Us For the Center to Advance Education for Adults annual Bertram L. Scott-Elizabeth A. Fender Distinguished Learning Event with Dr. Brenda Allen, Vice Chancellor of Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Colorado.
Implicit bias refers to attitudes or stereotypes that can unconsciously affect our actions and decisions. During this interactive session, we will explore answers to the following questions:
  • What is implicit bias?
  • Why and how does implicit bias matter to learning professionals?
  • What are conditions for unconscious bias?
  • How can we mitigate unconscious bias?
