The Center to Advance Education for Adults, located at DePaul University, welcomes you to our lively conversation about burning issues, trends, ideas, best practices and new directions in adult learning practice.

 

Welcome to the conversation!

We have recently enjoyed sharing a lively and inspiring day of conversation and experiential learning at our fall conference, Thriving in Transition. The day featured a panel discussion with several inspiring speakers sharing their stories and lessons of transformation, followed by experiential learning sessions in which we rediscovered our wisdom and resources in transition.

One of the highlights of the day was our keynote speaker and afternoon workshop leader, internationally known speaker and change agent, Margaret Wheatley. She shared her own stories and provocative thoughts on transition, and led us through a series of questions that stretched our thinking and vision of possibilities.

You can now access the recent center events and conference highlights online at iTunes U. Apple iTunes required. Just follow these simple steps:
- Download iTunes
- Open iTunes and navigate to the iTunes store.
- Click on the iTunes U link on the left.
- Select DePaul under the list of universities.
- Choose School for New Learning, then the Center to Advance Education for Adults.
- Scroll down through the list of events. You will find the most recent events, including Meg Wheatley's keynote (#14) toward the bottom of the list.
